Sara Milonovich

Sara is at once a successful singer, fiddler, composer, and bandleader in her own right, while at the same time a sought-after accompanist for a number of other artists in many musical genres. She has performed throughout the US and Europe in Americana roots, folk-rock, bluegrass, Celtic, and Appalachian music, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with artists such as Richard Shindell, The McKrells, Pete Seeger, Cathie Ryan, Eliza Gilkyson, Anne Hills, and Antje Duvekot, among others. Her latest CD, ‘Daisycutter’, released in 2009, was a nominated Grammy semifinalist, as was her debut CD, ‘Miss Ippy Fiddle’, released in 1998. Her first CD with Greg Anderson, ‘Forward In All Directions!’, made the Top Ten World Music list in the Village Voice ‘Pazz & Jop’ Critic’s Poll of 2004. (photo by Kelly Lorenz)

John Kirk 

Since 1988, John Kirk and Trish Miller have toured as a duo throughout the world, from the Grand Canyon to Barbados, from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Academy of Culture in St. Petersburg, Russia, playing music and singing in concerts, festivals, and schools, and calling contra and square dances. They have numerous recordings together. John is an acclaimed singer and versatile instrumentalist on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo. In addition to his work with Trish, he fiddles with old-time stringbands The Woodshed All-stars and The Susquehanna Stringband, with international dance troupe The Vanaver Caravan, and is also on the music faculty at Bennington College, VT and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was part of the national touring band Walt Michael & Company in the 1980s, and can be heard along with Jay Ungar & Molly Mason on the Ken Burns PBS television series, ‘The West’. Trish Miller

Trish Miller has been performing and teaching Appalachian clog dancing since 1981. She is a popular caller for square and contra dances, in addition to playing old-time clawhammer banjo and guitar. She has danced with The Back Creek Cloggers from Richmond, VA, and The Green Grass Cloggers from Asheville, NC, among others. Trish also choreographs and arranges traditional American music & dance programs for schools, concerts & workshop settings, and teaches banjo at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. (photo by Bill Spence)

Greg Anderson

Currently guitarist with the Eileen Ivers band, Greg has been a mainstay in many folk, ethnic, and world music scenes throughout the years. He toured with celebrated Irish vocalist Cathie Ryan, and has worked with many other singer/songwriters, including Richard Shindell, Tommy Sands, Susan McKeown, and Dave Moore, as well as accompanied many instrumental stalwarts in different genres, ranging from Steeleye Span fiddler Peter Knight and Irish accordion great James Keane, to former Shakti violinist L. Shankar, among countless others.  Having played with Grammy-winners The Klezmatics, (accompanying them on tours with Itzhak Perlman), Greg is also a sought after producer and arranger. (photo by Kelly Lorenz)
