Lively fiddle tunes, lonesome folksongs, and fancy footwork!! This versatile quartet from upstate New York combines elements from the old-time, bluegrass and swing music of the Appalachians, to the French-Canadian and Celtic influences of the early immigrants to the Adirondacks. Toe tapping music on twin fiddles, banjos, mandolins, and guitars, along with percussive Appalachian clog dancing, combines with 4-part vocal harmonies to showcase the diversity of rural American music.
For the past 17 years we have been entertaining in coffeehouses and concert halls, teaching and calling dances, and educating as artists-in-residence in schools throughout the US and Europe. We have loved our interactions with students, artists, and audiences and look forward to more musical adventures in 2016!!
